Now Dreadlocks and natural hair styles in the workplace are more than acceptable. In many  states, it is unlawful to discriminate against a person based on their hair texture and any styles  worn in their natural state in schools and in the workplace. Employers have had to become  more aware of the inextricably link between our hair, our ethnicity, and our culturally oriented  styles— acknowledging that our hair is an extension of our personhood and should not garner  negative oppression!!
